1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern your use of eora.ae (the "Website") and the EORA membership system. By using the Website or submitting a membership application, you agree to these Terms and to the EORA Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Who we are

The Website is operated for the Emirates Oncology and Radiotherapy Association ("EORA"), a non-profit medical association licensed by the Department of Community Development, Abu Dhabi, License No. NPO-A-M-098. EORA has appointed Wiredin Events LLC, Dubai, to build and operate the Website and the membership system on its behalf. Wiredin acts for EORA and is not a party to your membership.

3. Who can use the Website

The Website is for healthcare professionals, students and others with a professional interest in oncology, radiotherapy and hematology, and for members of the public seeking general information. You must be 18 or older to apply for membership.

4. Membership

  • Applying. You must give accurate, complete and current information, including a valid Emirates ID and, where requested, your professional licence details. Providing false or misleading information is a breach of these Terms.
  • Why we ask for your Emirates ID. EORA is required by the Department of Community Development, Abu Dhabi to verify the identity of its members. We cannot approve an application without it. See the Privacy Policy for how it is protected and how long it is kept.
  • Decision. EORA reviews every application and may approve or reject it. Approval is not automatic, and EORA is not required to give reasons.
  • Fee. Membership is currently free of charge. If a fee is introduced, we will tell you before you are charged.
  • Ending membership. You may end your membership at any time by emailing secretariat@eora.ae. EORA may suspend or end a membership for breach of these Terms or where the information provided turns out to be inaccurate.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at secretariat@eora.ae if you suspect unauthorized use.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • impersonate anyone or misrepresent your profession, licence, qualifications or affiliation;
  • submit another person's Emirates ID or personal data without their authority;
  • attempt to breach security, interfere with the Website, or upload malicious code;
  • scrape, harvest or copy data from the Website, including member or speaker details; or
  • use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in breach of rules on healthcare professional conduct and promotional activity.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Website's text, graphics, logos, photographs and design belong to EORA or are used with permission. You may view and share links to pages for personal or professional reference, but you may not copy, republish or adapt the content without EORA's written consent. Presentations and materials from EORA events remain the property of their authors or EORA.

8. Medical information

9. Events and registration

Event information is provided for planning purposes and may change. Registration for an EORA event may carry its own terms, which are shown at the point of registration. Accreditation or CME credit is described only where an event has been accredited, and then as stated on the event page.

10. Third-party links and sponsors

The Website may link to third-party websites or show sponsor information. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Sponsorship does not influence EORA's scientific content.

11. Privacy

Our use of personal data is described in the EORA Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Our use of cookies is described in the EORA Cookie Notice.

12. Disclaimers

The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We take care to keep information accurate, but EORA does not warrant that every item is complete or current.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, EORA and Wiredin are liable only for direct loss arising from your use of the Website and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
